The thing I liked the most about the trailer was how emotional it was. Because this was never a story about kids killing kids. No way. It's a story about the emotions behind kids killing kids, the trauma of the reaping and the arena, the conflicting emotions of our heroine, the way the Capitol treats it as a game and the politics behind how a government could be so cruel as to enforce this. It's not about the action and gore. And another company with a less passionate director and a poor cast could have never pulled off what that trailer did. If it is any representation of what the movie will be like, March 23 is going to deliver an absolutely chilling and heart wrenching film.
